We are a Boutique Winery located in Mendoza, Argentina. We are an Importer and Seller of high-quality wines. Our main winery was estalished in 1881 and has 70 - 100 year old vines.  We have 13 vinyards in the best places and climates in Agentina, and we produce over 20 varietals.  Every wine in our portfolio is rated 90 points or higher.  We are currently selling our wines in over 20 countries, and we are expanding sales in the US.  
THE JOB
Beyond facilitating transactions, Brokers are an integral part of our team and have unique access to the owners, producers, importers, marketing, operations and suppliers. They play a vital role in effectively marketing and enhancing the visibility of of wines across all channels, on-premise and off-premise, retailers, restaurants, wine clubs, collectors and enthusiasts. 
As part of a small, collaborative team, our Brokers have strategic input on sales strategies, pricing methodologies, negotiating terms and contracts, inventory management, and market positioning.
We are seeking to partner with a small number of brokers and distributors with relationships in California, Washington, Oregon, Texas, Florida, the Northeast, Midwest, and Rocky Mountain Region.

POSITION PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Under general supervision, review for suspicious activity both systems generated reports and escalated alerts from various business lines regarding consumer and business accounts. Assist in communication, investigation and dissemination of information concerning BSA regulatory requirements and AML policies. Conducts account research, review and monitoring. Responsible for mastering several computer applications used to research, review and write a comprehensive narrative.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
Responsible for fulfilling the Anti-Money-Laundering/Bank Secrecy Act requirements through identification and investigation of suspicious activity
• Actively ensures compliance with company and all Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information security and suspicious activity reporting requirements, policies and procedures.
• Evaluates and analyzes the information uncovered during the investigation and makes recommendation regarding whether a Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) must be filed.
• Prepares Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs).
• Prepares and reviews case files with all required documentation for BSA retention.
• Maintains watch list customers and investigates for continued suspicious activity.
• Reviews new account information for compliance with CIP.
• Communicates with employees and/or management to follow-up on questionable CIP items/exceptions. Appropriately escalates material risks to manager.
• Other duties as assigned.
Examines establishment policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
Understands government regulations with particular emphasis on the Bank Secrecy Act and related regulations.
Assist business units in implementing processes necessary to comply with regulations.
Stays abreast of changes to federal and state banking laws and regulations affecting the management, operations, and product offerings of the establishment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Four-year college or university program certificate.
2 + years’ experience working with Anti-Money-Laundering/Bank Secrecy Act requirements in a commercial bank, credit union or payments company setting.

A broad knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-money laundering compliance, general compliance and/or risk-based compliance with an understanding of technology and best practices in the BSA/AML/Compliance field.
CAMS or equivalent certification preferred.

Position Summary  
Our company has a 30 year history of serving clients in a wide range of industires including, financial services and banking, agriculture, public sectors, manufacturers, service companies, tax and accounting firms. 
Working independently but collaborating with an experiencd team, the VA Research & Marketing Assistant fouces on researching specific industries and companies operating within those industries and identifying candidates posessing specific experience and skills as clearly defined. 
Effective use of search engine tools including but not limited to Linked in, indeed, zip recruiter, as well as our proprietary data base and AI recruting tools. 
Extensive research of company websites, job boards, linked in pages and other, to identify prospective candidates with specific work experience and skills. 
Follow established workflow process for initial contact with prospective candidates, basic data entry, obtaining resumes, sharing position descriptions and setting up phone interviews with the Recruiting Team. 
As a Virtual Assistant, all information is available on-line, via a secure portal. 
Required Qualifications

Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint 

Outgoing, self-motivated, curious, detailed, excellent communication skills. 

Compensation and Benefits
10 hours a week completely flexible, project focused time.  Hourly rate depending on qualifications and experience.  Monthly and Quarterly Bonuses. 

Bank Controller - Duties/Responsibilities
Oversee the overall accounting function typical of a small community bank, including control systems, transaction-processing operations, and accounting policies and procedures, other.
As a member of the Asset Liability Committee and the Operations, Compliance and IT Committee, the Controller will interact across the organization.
Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, including corporate annual reports, Call Reports, budget variance reports, and ALCO Committee Reports.
Maintain the GL chart of accounts. Reviews income and expense general ledger entries for appropriateness, assures all monthly entries have been made prior to month end close. Maintain adequate internal controls over accounting transactions
Preparation, process and maintenance of Payroll and Insurance programs for employees, maintain updated ADP system, monthly salary and PTO accruals
Work closely with the executive team in the preparation of the annual budget, audits. Assist in the gathering of information for external and internal auditors, and regulators for bank examinations
Liquidity Monitoring and Reporting, daily Cash Management, liquidity forecast reporting and ALCO committee meeting and report preparation. Ensuring sufficient liquidity and lines of credit to meet forecasted needs. Other financial analysis as needed
Asset Liability Management overseeing Investment securities entries, deposit trends and capital account. The ALM system is Vantage
Daily & monthly reconciliation & tracking of General Ledger accounts, internal bank checking accounts, balance sheet accounts reconciliation., Manages fixed assets depreciation, prepaid and accrued expenses, maintaining fixed assets accounting system. Follows up on any outstanding suspense items older than 90 days, proper documentation and filing.
Accounts Payable, USE taxes, IRS reporting, vendor management.
